I stumbled accross an artist named Yuko Nishimura, after looking at her work I noticed she concentrates mainly on paper-folding objects that hang on the wall, the canopy shown above portrays a potentially whole new direction in her work. 'Way past a simple generic Asian room divider'. the canopy shows how the complex operations on a simple material can result in...temporary, disposable, and intimate architecture.

This is the intimacy i want to create in my space, Lucy's aim is to provide a personal, comfortble atmosphere for the people she helps. This whole idea has made me think into contemporary japanese architecture, the mood created here is exactly what I have in mind for my idea.
