Peter Calleson's 'Palace of Dreams'

I looked into Calleson's work earlier on in my project as I was fascinated how he created all his designs purely from paper, further into my researching I found what he has named 'Palace of Dreams', a built castle from recycled wood, then coated white, floating on the water. The idea was to let people visit the castle, one at a time, to escape into their own fairytale world, Peter himself would take the individuals there in a boat, then pick them up after an hours visit. This lets them almost discover and let them feel free to relax and escape.

''Symbolic the floating mobile castle can be read in different ways. The mobile castle suggests autonomy and something playful, as well as a contrast to the normal solid castle. The fact that the castle is floating and the aspect of water also suggest something dreamlike, something that will disappear again, something, which might just be a dream.''
