The Start of a new project... Narrative Objects.
Into my second term of university in Manchester, I am starting to pick up a clearer understanding and gain more knowledge of my course as days go by, so much so I am at the stage of creating my first blog! To express my thoughts and ideas giving you an insight into the ongoing progress of my work as an Interior Design student.
Our project is named 'Narrative Objects: story telling & staging'. Lucy May Schofield is almost a principle character for us on this scheme. Lucy is an artist and a book-maker. She 'makes objects to house stories that may otherwise go untold. In creating narratives, she accompanies the viewer on a journey, often manifesting in an installation, multiple or artist's book.'

My 'mission' if you like, is to make a space to house lucy's objects...that house her stories. We are given three starting points to work on, the themes are of permanence, Transience and Temporary. The ideas i could conjour up are endless, and I could easily sway off board! But I suppose I need to start somewhere...
